“ Chili scrambled eggs with croissant - this was fire! So good. The chili jam and chili oil used just gave enough kick of spice. Iced matcha was also nice. Pricewise, this is on a pricier side for a cafe (I added a chorizo for $5 in my chilli eggs so paid almost $30 for my meal excl my drink). I think it's worth trying tho! ”
“ found my matcha match here!! it’s really good as it is but paired with the strawberry and strawberry foam in their Samantha was freaking delicious I even ordered 2 at the end of the day! 10/10 I also tried their specials which was some kind of eggs Benedict on bagel paired with fried chicken and arugula(?) 9.5/10 it was really good and big portion wise, i went home happy. Will definitely be back ”
“ Friendly staff, clean toilets and most importantly, decent priced coffee. $5.50 for a large coffee is excellent, although I may be Influenced by Melbourne’s steep prices. They lost two stars for service because they are slow even when not busy. Somewhat inefficient with their lack of fixed stations, and not producing coffees in bulk. They seem to start from scratch for every coffee and walk in front of one another, always in a fluster. I waited 14 minutes for a large take away coffee, while three staff worked, and it was not busy and there was no line. Fix the speed and you’ll have a good business. But if it takes that long to get a takeaway coffee, people will just buy from next door. ”

“ Ham and cheese croissant was just crispy on the outside and melty on the inside. Freezing and rainy outside but it’s surprisingly cosy in this cafe with all the doors open. Sounds from the gym through the cafe adding to the vibe. Service is lovely and efficient. From a coffee-holic very nice ”
“ First time trying Heat Cafe and had a relatively positive experience. We ordered the chilli scramble and chicken sandwich, which were both tasty and satiating. However, the chicken’s portion size was quite small, and it felt like there was an imbalance of chicken to pickle ratio. For $18, I think a thicker chicken cutlet could’ve been used as it’s quite expensive for a sandwich. We had high hopes for the matcha specialty drinks - my banana + matcha drink was really tasty with a unique flavour profile which worked well. However, the Samantha was reported to be a bit of a let down in terms of flavour. The consistency and presentation were both fantastic though. Service were all friendly and relatively fast, and atmosphere of the cafe was cosy and aesthetic. Overall, a nice brunch location on Melbourne St and would recommend their food. A bit more on the pricey end, but an overall nice experience ”
“ I absolutely love Heat Café! The food is consistently amazing, and their matcha is hands down the best I’ve had. I’m there almost every Tuesday with my laptop, and it’s the perfect spot to get work done in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff are genuinely lovely. Always up for a great chat and they even remember my order, which we love. My fav food is the coconut chicken salad, fries and the Biscoff overnight oats!! ”
